H3 Hotel Rotterdam City Center, a newly opened establishment situated in the heart of Rotterdam, is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team at the reception desk on a full-time basis. Our hotel, boasting 45 modern rooms, seeks a dynamic and hospitable professional to enhance our guest experience.

Job Overview:

The reception operates round-the-clock, necessitating a candidate who is adaptable and willing to work in shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role demands fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages viewed favorably. Candidates must also possess solid computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the initial point of contact for our guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, and the night audit process.

- Perform a variety of administrative tasks using computer systems.

- Conduct fire, security, and closing inspections, along with light cleaning duties.

- Flexibility in scheduling is required to cover for team members during absences.

Qualifications:

- Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the month, adhering to a schedule that operates 24/7.

- Professional demeanor, with a keen interest in learning and personal growth.

- A positive, team-oriented attitude, coupled with the ability to work independently.

- Commitment to excellence in customer service, with a sharp eye for detail.

- Applicants must be of impeccable character and able to secure a VOG (conduct certificate).

- Experience in similar roles (e.g., night receptionist, night auditor) is advantageous but not essential.

- Competitive salary of €13.30 per hour for candidates over 21, plus 8% holiday pay.
