The SharePoint Support Engineer is responsible for helping our R&D business work more efficient and secure by monitoring the sites, advising Site Owners and implementing and maintaining security and compliancy settings and policies.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Software & Application Operations

Monitors, identifies, and corrects defects to maintain fully functioning SharePoint sites. Produces accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and putting it into standard formats. Completes a range of operational tasks per runbook.

Risk & Compliance

Executes the guided control measures on Information Security (e.g., encryption), Data Management (build low-complex defined trusted dataset), Business Continuity (e.g., run back-up) and Regulatory Compliancy (e.g., privacy, retention, SOX). Notifies Security Experts of any risks or problems.

Business Support

Acts as regional operational business partner supporting business in efficiently executing their business processes, incl supporting them in defining IT improvement. Provides support to regional key users for incidents and questions, including if required escalation to IT support partners and vendors. Provides support to global and regional project initiatives; from design review through testing and deployment, including training.

Education and experience

Experienced IT Sharepoint Support Engineer with relevant (e.g. information technology, computer science, or other) Bachelor or Vocational degree.
Requires solid knowledge of SharePoint and other relevant Microsoft tooling.

Is well versed in English and has good communication skills along side a helping attitude towards end-users.
