Job DescriptionFor our hotel we are looking for an enthusiastic
Duty Management Trainee,
who will be at the heart of the daily operations and ensure that every guest leaves the hotel satisfied and happy to return. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for maintaining our service standards and making our guests lives easier. To do this, you will work closely with all departments in the hotel to come up with creative ways to exceed our guests expectations. In addition, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of all guests and colleagues. You will ensure a safe emergency exit route and respond to fire alarms, unusual situations and accidents. In short, you are the first responder within the hotel.

Required skills and competences

• Full availability (weekends, shifts)
• Operational support to different departments
• VIP Handling
• Complaint handling
• Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Thinking with the team for efficient handling of tasks. Work interdepartmentally and collaborating effectively with other team leaders.
• Be an ambassador of the Hilton Values (Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership & Now).
• Good command of both Dutch and English languages. Any other languages would be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A positive, proactive attitude where leading by example is a key word
• Previous experience with our PMS system, OnQ is a plus
• Able to start from September 2024
