Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose As Country Operations Manager you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of operations within assigned branches, to achieve

• optimum business performance
• maximise growth opportunities
• ensure operational compliance, and
• focus on continuous improvement and efficiency

Functions

§ Develop operational plans in line with company strategy, formulate strategic and operational objectives

§ Responsible for profit and loss for the assigned branches

§ Coordinate the use of branch labour, facilities and equipment to ensure maximum utilisation.

§ Ensure compliance with all technical reporting systems and procedures including operating procedures manual.

§ Responsible for contractual obligations for all contracts to ensure compliance and maximum profitability.

§ Assist Contracts Manager by preparing bid/tender documentation and quotations.

§ Demonstrate commitment to the continuing growth of the company by ensuring good relationships with existing and developing relationships with new clients.

§ Responsible for the use of all equipment, materials and consumables to minimise waste and losses to ensure maximum utilisation.

§ Responsible for the implementation of company personnel policies for all direct reports.

§ Responsible for annual budgets for branches in consultation with the Group Financial Manager.

§ Responsible for rolling sales forecast in consultation with the Contracts Manager as required.

§ Responsible for compliance with all Statutory and Company requirements relating to the control, correct use and transportation of radioactive substances and equipment capable of producing ionising radiations.

§ Responsible for ensuring all NDT work is carried out to approved procedures.

§ Supervise delivery of all scopes of work to acceptable standards.

§ Responsible for prompt responses to client requests

§ Understand operational risk to ensure that Oceaneering is not taking inappropriate risks in executing work. This requires a good knowledge of HSE acceptable standards and risk management tools.

§ Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by management.

Safety Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to, as far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment. Other Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems.

Eliminate waste: suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Qualifications
REQUIRED

§ The jobholder must have a sound knowledge of inspection and non-destructive testing methods

§ Be able to maintain acceptable standards, provide timely feedback and guidance on problems or issues identified.

§ Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

§ Good supervision and personnel management skills are essential.

§ Previous or current NDT qualifications
