The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is looking for you as Event Operations Supervisor (Part-Time)!

As Event Operations Supervisor, you are in charge of our meetings, conferences and weddings with a capacity of up to 650 persons. You are responsible for supervising, training and coaching the Event Operations team consisting of part-time and full-time waiters. You conduct performance reviews, create schedules and take care of the stock control. During the events, you are the contact person for our guests and you ensure the highest level of service by leading and executing the requirements of all possible meetings, events and conferences. Our Meetings Imagined concept requires creative thinking; meetings are more than tables and chairs. These events can take place in the meeting rooms inside the hotel or the 17th Century ‘Koepelkerk’ across the hotel.

To be eligible for this position you…

• Have excellent communication skills in English and preferably Dutch.
• Have preferably 1 to 2 years of hospitality experience and in supervising a team.
• Are looking for a part-time job and available for at least two shifts per week.
• Are flexible in working mornings, evenings and weekends.

We are excited that the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is currently undergoing a full transformation. A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
