Introduction on the role:
As a Sr. Marketing Manager eTail, you will oversee and optimize retail media spending across various platforms, including Amazon, Zalando, and other key retail channels. You will play a crucial role in driving brand visibility, traffic, and sales through strategic media campaigns and effective management of agency partnerships.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimise retail media spend for driving traffic and conversion at key wholesale sites (Amazon, Zalando, ASOS, Next, About You).
- Analyse performance metrics and trends to identify opportunities for maximising ROI.
- Optimize budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources and achieve campaign objectives.
- Cross-functionally develop innovative and impactful media campaigns that align with brand objectives and drive sales.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns, including targeting, creative development, and performance tracking.
- Evaluate campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retail media agencies, fostering strong partnerships.
- Provide guidance and direction to agencies to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns which align to brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Drive a strong cross-functional relationship with teams, inc. Brand Marketing, Sales, GTM and Merchandizing. Ensure retail media strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Communicate insights with internal stakeholders to drive synergy and maximise channel impact.
- Have a strong connection to industry trends, competitive landscape, and platform updates to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the retail media landscape.
Who are you?
- Bachelors degree or equivalent advanced certifications specializing in Marketing
- 8 years+ agency or brand retail media experience
- Proven experience in retail media management, preferably within the footwear or apparel industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing agency relationships and driving results through partnership.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, including Amazon Advertising and other retail media channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful media campaigns.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of strong people management and talent development.
- Travel Requirements: circa 10-20%; visiting agencies, accounts, or internal meetings.
