We are currently looking for a Warehouse Teamlead in our friendly and international team at Sims Lifecycle Services in Eindhoven. You will directly report to the Operations Manager and lead the Warehouse within Sims Lifecycle Services indepently. You will be able to work closely with the team to ensure the warehouse is operating at maximum efficiency while motivating your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all warehouse operations to ensure safety, health, environmental and quality requirements are exceeded;
• With inbound check the correct papers, unload the goods, weigh the freight, and process the incoming goods in the SAP system so that the stock is always correct;
• Label and prepare goods;
• Keeping the warehouse tidy, structure it, and carry out checks;
• Picking sales orders, prepare them, weigh, and pack them;
• Creating scrap orders and streamline recycling;
• Supporting process improvements initiatives;

You are the Warehouse Team lead of the Warehouse team of 5 employees in our individual warehouse area. You get your energy from motivating them and supporting them to achieve their goals and develop their individual skills. We are extending in Eindhoven, so the team will probably also extend with 2 or 3 employees in the near future.

Key Skills/Competencies

• Really good knowledge of the English language;
• Experience with forklift and reach truck, and the associated certificates;
• A few years’ experience as a lead in the Warehouse or similar;
• Ability to understand processes and improve them continuously;
• Keeping SLA in check;
• Convenience with computer systems and preferred is experience with ERP systems.

You will work 36 to 40 working hours a week at our big and beautiful site in Son en Breugel (near Eindhoven) with working hours Monday till Friday from 07:30 until 16:00. Perfect to combine with your personal life!

What we offer

• Salary between € 2.800, - and € 3.200, - gross a month, excluding 8% holiday allowance, based on 40 working hours per week;
• 26 PTO days a year, based on working fulltime;
• Travel expenses commuting traffic of 0,22 ct. per km;
• Very good pension of which SLS contributes 2/3 of the total;
