Valtech is looking for an Office Manager. Are you an experienced Office Manager who can help us develop and maintain a positive and inclusive office environment that reflects our companys values and culture?

In this role, you will work in our brand-new sustainable Utrecht office that will be opened in the second half of July 2024.

A day in the life of an Office Manager

As Office Manager, your primary responsibility is to keep our office looking spick and span, making sure everything is tidy, organized, and ready for action. You will be the mastermind behind office space management, making sure everyone has a spot to work at, office and other supplies are ordered and the pantry is stocked up.
You are that friendly face who people can turn to!

In addition, you will:

  • Show off your safety smarts by leading our health and safety policies and procedures and make sure we are all up to date with the latest standards.
  • Be our superhero in emergencies, leading the charge on evacuation plans and making sure everyone knows what to do when things get hairy.
  • Keep things ticking smoothly with our preventative maintenance program, making sure everything from our coffee machines to our fire alarms are in top shape.
  • Plan and rock both internal and external events, from workshops to parties, making sure they’re a hit every time.
  • Team up with different departments to understand their needs, help plan their meetings and workshops, and make sure they have what they need to shine.
You and the role

Our Office Manager works closely with our People and Culture and IT teams to help newbies settle in, to sort out travel arrangements and lend a helping hand when needed.

We would love if you have
  • At least 5+ years of experience managing office spaces with a hybrid working environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures related to the workplace
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses related to the office upkeep and improvements
  • Excellent English and Dutch communications skills
  • Experience managing relationships with our vendors, ensuring we get the best service for our buck.
  • A BHV certification or a willingness to get certified
