What is important to know about this job?

The team consists of a Chief Engineer, technical service employees and trainees. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the technical maintenance and keeping all hotel facilities in operational condition. In addition, you solve malfunctions and perform operations on equipment, installations, plumbing and lighting. This can also be at the request of a guest, which malfunction or operation you will of course solve as quickly as possible and with a smile. You will mainly work in Hotel Die Port van Cleve, and 1 or 2 days a week at Dutch Design Hotel Vondelpark, but you can also be deployed in Dutch Design Hotel Artemis (for example, during holidays, crowds or illness). The Maintenance department also works on Saturdays in alternating shifts and you can have on-call service on Sundays. The Chief Engineer is your coach and helps you to develop further.

Who are we looking for?

  • You speak English or Dutch
  • You preferably have a completed secondary technical education
  • Knowledge of electronics is a plus, but not a must
  • You are a real handyman and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • You are flexible and collegial
  • Minimum secondary vocational education (MBO) work- & think level
