Location: The successful candidate may be based in a country where one of the independent National/Regional Greenpeace organisations (NRO’s) is located. See the locations here. [Unfortunately, we are currently unable to host new staff in a number of NROs at this present time, due to various restrictions. We are unable to support hosting of new staff in Africa, India, US, UK, Italy, Colombia, MENA region, in addition to some other NRO locations. Greenpeace International is seeking an Integrity Project Manager to support and collaborate with the Integrity Officer in overseeing and supporting the implementation of the Global Integrity System. Working closely with Integrity Officers at National & Regional Offices (NROs), you will contribute to the continuous improvement of integrity practices on a global scale.


In this role you will:

  • Support the Integrity Officer with the roll-out of the Global Integrity System as per the 2017 EDM agreement in each NRO contributing to the realisation of overall Greenpeace Integrity.

  • Oversee Integrity investigations.

  • Coordinate with NROs to identify training and capacity requirements in line with global recommendations to enable the Integrity System to succeed within accelerated timelines as per the June 2018 EDM agreement

  • Advise NROs in developing methodologies and Terms of References for the Restoring Justice Initiative (Priority/rapid response support for sexual harassment cases)

  • Develop functions for NROs including knowledge transfer and capacity building. Advises GPI and NROs in integrity and organisational policy development including vulnerability and risk assessments per policy.

  • Coordinate with GPI departments and functions to ensure alignment with the Integrity System. Responsible for coordinating and communicating effectively across multiple initiatives/countries/cases and stakeholders, by building strong relationships. Develops and maintains global networks of key stakeholder communities.

  • Significant experience with project/analytical skills in a project management position or in a similar position within a global organisation.

  • Experience in conflict management and problem solving.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Experience with workplace investigation and report writing.

  • Ability to act with discretion and be respectful of confidentiality.

  • Experience with human rights or an international NGO is an advantage.

  • Build and maintain on-going, collaborative, working relationships to achieve organisational goals.

  • Legal experience/background preferred, or demonstrable experience with policy development/writing.

  • Experience in working to tight deadlines and under stressful conditions.

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, and preferably one other language.

  • Ability to thrive in a remote-only, culturally diverse team, and to learn new methods and technologies.

  • Demonstrable support for and belief in the Greenpeace network core aims and values.

  • Digital literacy skills; the ability to learn and utilise our digital platforms to successfully perform the role function (familiarity with G-Suite, Slack and Zoom is an advantage)
