Hybrid: 3 days onsite


About the position

We are looking for a passionate, well-rounded and data-driven HR Business Partner for the Netherlands. If you love a challenge and thrive with change, this role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing business where you will have real ownership and responsibility.

Reporting directly to the Head of People and Organisation Western Europe, you will shape and implement the local people strategy. You will be a sparring partner for key stakeholders in various functions with the goal of bringing to life our people plans.

In your day to day, you will act as a reliable source of guidance for our teams and will engage on varied topics such as Employee Experience & Engagement, Rewards & Analytics, and People & Career Development. You will work closely with our P&O Operations team to shape and continuously improve employee experience. You will also collaborate with our works council on all employee-related and legal topics.

In addition, you act as a partner to our Talent Acquisition team to find the best candidates for Upfield. You are also in the lead for our annual performance and career/personal development processes. As a bonus, you facilitate Learning and Leadership Development sessions for our managers and you support global Talent and Learning initiatives and implement them in the Dutch market.


So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Proven HRBP with experience gained in dynamic, performance driven environments
  • Rounded HR expertise with a broad knowledge base spanning such as performance management, personal development, learning & development & talent management and reward
  • Commercially astute with a proven track record of managing stakeholders and acting as a sparring partner
  • Action orientated, team player with high levels of drive and resilience. Hands-on problem solver who enjoys juggling a wide range of topics at the same time
  • Good knowledge of Dutch Labor Law is a must. Experience of partnering with works councils is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in Dutch and English. Experience of operating in international environments is preferred
