Do you want to work at the largest online pet store in the Netherlands (and Europe?) Do you have a passion for online marketing and communication? Is direct marketing really your thing? Does developing cool email and print campaigns make your heart beat faster and will you bind customers to us with your relevant content? Then you might be our new Direct Marketing Manager.

In this role you will take over the planning, implementation and analysis of e-mail newsletters, postal print marketing, push notifications and other direct marketing activities. Your goals is to further improve our customer engagement rate, repurchase rates and sales retention.

A direct marketing manager at zooplus:

• Plans, executes and analyzes manual and automated newsletters.
• Plans, executes and analyzes push notifications via our app.
• Manages postal print mailings from conception, agency selection, coupon code generation, customer segmentation until send-out and results analysis.
• Creates engaging and relevant content for direct marketing initiatives.
• Optimizes effectiveness and conversion of running campaigns (all direct marketing channels) based on data and clear KPI.
• Develops initiatives to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
• Monitors best practice & introducing new initiatives from competitors/ benchmarking.
• Implements the Direct Marketing component of wider zooplus campaigns.
• Aligns with other functions e.g., Campaigns & Promotions, CRM, Loyalty, Shop Operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in Direct Marketing and in specifically in newsletter creation / e-mail marketing.
• Experience in marketing automation is a plus.
• Proficient level in English (company language), fluent in Dutch (C2 level).
• Accurate and very attentive to details.
• Hands-on and getting things done mentality.
