Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and security architects to drive IAM initiatives, perform in-depth analysis, and contribute to the design and implementation of secure and scalable IAM solutions. This is a critical role in a high-stakes environment with demanding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business requirements related to IAM.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand IAM needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of IAM solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements to IAM processes and infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain IAM policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation.
  • Support integration of IAM solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).
  • Monitor IAM performance metrics and ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular IAM audits and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to IAM team members.
  • Create and review technical documents including due diligence and high-level design (HLD).
  • Engage with customer architecture boards and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance activities such as patching, tuning, and backups.
  • Troubleshoot IAM-related issues and support incident response efforts.
  • Stay current with emerging IAM technologies and industry best practices.

Essential Skills

  • 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in IAM or IT Security domains.
  • Proficient in IAM tools such as Okta, Azure AD, or similar technologies.
  • Deep understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, RBAC, etc.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder communication, documentation, and requirements analysis.
  • Solid understanding of integration methods between IAM solutions and existing systems.
  • Experience working in complex customer environments and contributing to architectural discussions.
  • Skilled in documentation of design and due diligence processes.
  • Problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and remediation experience.

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
