Who are we looking for We are seeking an empowering and results-driven Customer Care Manager to lead our Dutch Customer Care team in Hoofddorp in a hybrid role, balancing office and remote work to maintain strong team engagement and operational efficiency. In this role, you will provide clear direction, make well-informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement in our customer care processes. Your ability to navigate change, establish structure, and foster a high-performing team will be critical to ensuring exceptional support for our customers and sales organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage 5 employees in the Dutch team to ensure stable, high-quality Customer Care and Sales Administration operations
    • Cultivate a customer-focused, service-minded attitude within the team
    • Track Customer Care KPIs (e.g., tender monitoring, customer satisfaction, complaint handling, order backlogs) and proactively address any areas for improvement
    • Foster effective collaboration with Olympuss Shared Service Center, defining roles, responsibilities, and KPIs to streamline processes
    • Represent the team in North Customer Care meetings and Local Sales Management meetings in the Netherlands to promote alignment and best practices
    • Partner closely with local Sales Managers and North Customer Care Managers on process improvements
    • Oversee daily planning, prioritization, and workload balancing within the team

Your qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Team Lead/Manager role - Relevant experience in the medical device industry, public procurement, tendering, or an affiliated industry (life sciences, -other healthcare industries) is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
    • Full proficiency in Dutch and English; strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Customer-oriented, structured, and results-driven, with an empathetic, pacesetting leadership style
