<h2>Your opportunities as Electrical Mechanical Engineer at Capgemini Engineering</h2>The Mechanical Design Engineer provides expertise in delivering mechanical designs, participating in the entire development process ranging from specifications to conceptional design, detailed design, and prototypes qualification. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and responsible for demonstrating that the design works as intended and ensuring quality is maintained across all engineering activities along the V-model. You work in a team to plan and deliver the work packages and finalize all outputs to meet clients expectations. This includes, but is not limited to: Technical Product Documentations, Bill of Materials, 3D Models.

<h2>Your home base at Capgemini Engineering</h2>Together with Capgemini Connectivity Design Engineers, lead engineer and project manager you work on projects for the customer. This team works close with the customer teams to reach the best results. Your workplace will be hybrid, you work from the Capgemini office, customer locations and from home. Together with the team and the customer you decide where to work from.

<h2>Why is this job vacancy a good fit for you?</h2> You are used to work with multidisciplinary module design teams to establish agreement on specifications. Looking for balance in the technical needs and the Health and Safety rules. Handling a challenging environment with changing demands is one of your competences. In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3 - 5 years of experience as engineer of electronic functions;
  • Experience in working with electromechanical components (e.g. connectors) and familiair with their mechanical and electrical properties;
  • Broad technical knowledge on electronics, cabling, mains, safety, diagnostics, thermal aspects and cooling;
  • Excellent communication skills in English in word and in writing;
  • Preferably experience with NX and TCE.
