Finance Analyst

About the Role & Team

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join The Walt Disney Companys Benelux Media Networks that operates multiple channels, including Disney Channels, 24 Kitchen, Baby TV, ESPN, Star, and National Geographic. The Benelux Finance team is responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis for all activities in the region.

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our Amsterdam office and 1 day from home.

What You Will Do

• Prepare detailed annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including system submission and consolidation.

• Conduct frequent business reviews to develop a thorough understanding of the business and its competitive challenges, including monitoring subscriber trends and cost control.

• Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects for key business initiatives and strategies, including deal analysis.

• Prepare quarterly internal financial reporting, including P&L review and accrual documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong proficiency in Excel;

• Experience with SAP is preferred.

• Proactive Behavior: A strong desire to learn new things and tackle problems with a can-do attitude. Initiative, autonomy, and responsibility are key.

• Analytical Champion: Excellent analytical capabilities and structured thinking. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
