Do you have an eye for numbers and are you a problem solver with attention to your colleagues? As a Finance Specialist at TOPdesk, you solve complex puzzles daily and ensure all numbers are correct!
What will you do as a Finance Specialist? You will specialize in the Finance department within the accounts payable domain. You will link payments to invoices and check the periodic closings. Additionally, you will think about process improvements in financial matters, such as automating invoice entries and sending more efficient reminders. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are indispensable in this role.
Communication is important to clearly explain complex administrative matters to your colleagues.
Attention to detail is also crucial to ensure smooth payments to and from suppliers. With numerous different contracts and specifications, being sharp with the numbers is essential.
Every day, someone at TOPdesk purchases something from a supplier: from an educational book for a new colleague to arranging the catering for the upcoming years. You assist colleagues with their purchases and check the invoices. And if there is any ambiguity, you investigate to find out the exact situation.
You might even find an error that saves both us and the supplier a lot of problems! During the onboarding process, you will go over the daily tasks with a Finance colleague from your domain. Because we believe in learning by doing, you will soon start working independently. Naturally, you will be supported by a team where you can go with all your questions.
Where will end up? In the Finance team of TOPdesk Netherlands! In this team, you will work together with financial specialists from the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll domains. You will become part of the accounts payable domain. The team deals with daily finance matters while also working on process improvements. These processes are also rolled out in TOPdesks foreign offices, adding an international touch, as you will often be asked to assist foreign offices with financial issues!
Qualifications- You have a Bachelor or Master degree
- You are looking for a first or second step in your career
- 1-2 years or relevant work experience a plus
- You like to take initiative and want to keep developing yourself

- You have a strong sense of responsibility
