The Roles You Will Play

Subject Matter Expert

  • Engage in global product launches from early stages, offering insights on commercial value propositions and shaping compelling sales stories.
  • Research and implement innovative approaches and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of sales communications.
    • Create eDetailers and sales tools for effective product communication, driving both "sell-in" and "sell-out" strategies.

Content Developer

  • Partner with marketing and training teams to develop objection-handling content and leverage platforms like Showpad for content delivery.
  • Contribute to product training materials for new launches.

Sales Trainer and Implementation Specialist

  • Provide training on integrating content into the sales process, collaborating with global and regional teams to ensure strong local implementation.
  • Track content usage, gather feedback, and refine approaches to continuously improve effectiveness.
  • Work with HR to incorporate sales communication tools into training programs.
Mobility

Open to national and international travel, averaging 40-50% of the time

Flexible Work Arrangements
  • This is a hybrid position that allows for flexible working at home subject to the approval of the manager and the company policies currently applicable.
  • As this position involves multi-regional or global scope, you will be required to participate in meetings and conference calls outside your regular work hours as required.   • Sales Tools and Resources
  • Define, create, and deliver sales materials (e.g., selling stories, case studies, objection-handling guides) for new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository for easy sales tools and content access.
  • Training and Development Programs
    • Collaborate with the Training team to design onboarding programs for new hires and provide continuous learning opportunities to keep the sales team updated on new products and market developments.
  • Execution and Performance Tracking
    • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for product launches and track the usage and effectiveness of sales materials.
    • Analyze the impact of training on sales performance, gather feedback from sales teams, and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Align enablement initiatives with overall sales goals, working closely with sales leadership to drive business success.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree, in optometry is preferred
  • Experience:
    • Ten years or more experience in sales/commercial roles in the vision care industry.
    • Salesforce enablement or trade marketing background preferred
  • Knowledge and Hard Skills:
    • Good knowledge of ophthalmic lenses
    • Strong selling skills
    • Good analytical skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
    • High level of English language
    • Knowledge of new selling tools (SFDC, showpad, etc)
  • Behavioral Attributes:
    • Strong accountability & result driven
    • Global perspective with a focus on local relevance
