We operate as one team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems activities in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing & Technical Organization (MTO).

The Project Engineer delivers effective support in core area to multiple projects or programs, gaining wide-ranging experience. Proposes new but similar improvements in processes and/or methodologies.

Proposes objectives to achieve targets on an individual level. Delivers local project work streams under supervision. Demonstrates knowledge of applicable engineering methods and practices. Applies core area knowledge and experience to work youre leading in projects. Develops leadership skills in a collaborative and multi-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Core Team Member in multidisciplinary project teams
• Define multiple solutions for the business needs and come to a final best solution
• Define and coordinate the specific engineering scope based on the alignment on customer demands and requirements
• Translate scope into request for quotation packages
• Manage progress, quality and scope with external engineering firms, on site contractors and stakeholders
• Coordinate small modifications, equipment installation with construction supervisors and the business-unit organizations.
• Check and approve engineering documentation by verifying if that it is in-line with the Dutch, European and Janssen Biologics standards.
• Representing engineering in the change meetings and change control assessments
• Own and maintain our internal engineering standards and link them with the internal J&J guidelines and global guidelines (ISPE).
• Support in the development of the engineering department expertise, processes and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

Education:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s and/or equivalent degree is required; focused degree in Engineering, technical or life sciences field, preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• 0- 3 years working experience as an engineer in a multidisciplinary environment (pharmaceutical area or equivalent).Digital & Technology
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple partners and priorities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving experience
• Process knowledge & expertise
