Account Specialist - Amazon

Overview: As Amazon Account Specialist you will be responsible for several Amazon accounts. You will need to build a strong relationship to grow the accounts across all the business models by managing internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Amazon Vendor account, optimizing product listings, and ensuring smooth coordination with Amazon’s Vendor Central platform.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for e-commerce, and a deep understanding of Amazons marketplace dynamics. This requires forecasting and driving all revenue and margin KPI’s, performance trends and volumes. You will support the trade and promotional calendar in cooperation with the marketing team. As we continue to grow our Amazon business, you will be key to the success of this account. Responsibilities: Account management

• Be the primary point of contact for Amazon Vendor Services and develop the relationship with external stakeholder
• Acquire an understanding for country needs and adjust and execute the Amazon strategy in alignment with the Sr. Ecommerce Manager to match country requirements
• Apply best practices from other countries and share own best practices (e. g. merchandising, promotions)
• Manage catalog, including new item setup and development, product detail page optimization
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all Amazon-related activities. By aligning and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Forecasting & Pricing/Promotions

• Analyze sales data, traffic trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
• Utilize Amazon Analytics, Vendor Central dashboards, and third-party tools to track KPIs and uncover actionable insights
• Support in forecast creation
• Support with promotional calendar planning and execution of the price/promotion merchandising strategy

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• Bachelors degree, Master preferred in Sales, E-Commerce, Economics
• Experience level: 3-5 years (preferably 5 years)
• Amazon experience (Vendor Central) and managing e-commerce business. Strong understanding of Amazons marketplace dynamics, algorithms, and best practices
• Category Management (Pricing Analysis, Assortment Analysis)
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English, second European language is a plus

• Extensive experience with relationship management and negotiating with a strategic account
• Experience in an international digital trading team driving change and growth

• Have demonstrative knowledge of online buying behaviors with proven experience of delivering online customer experience improvement.
