We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time
Engine Validation Engineer
to join our skilled service team in Hattem, QuantiParts in The Nederland.
The candidate is expected to have solid knowledge and practical experience in maintaining marine engine rooms.
The Functie is permanent.
What will you be doing:
- Lead the testing and validation activities at QuantiParts’ Engine Testing Facility in Hattem.
- Act as QuantiParts’ primary contact for all engine testing and validation activities, ensuring compliance for our customers and classification partners by conforming to stringent safety, quality, and technical standards.
- Safe execution and optimization of engine test programs, including Factory Acceptance Tests for engines and systems.
- Provide detailed and structured reports on completed engine validation tests, following pre-defined load steps
- Perform and lead maintenance and repair tasks for the Engine Testing Facility, maintaining safe and efficient operation of all main and auxiliary systems.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance routines for the facility, ensuring compliance with scheduled outages and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate activities with engine component assembly, depending on the workload of engine testing and maintenance tasks.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in maintaining marine engine rooms, including main engines and their auxiliary systems, such as compressed air, LT & HT cooling systems, lubricating oil, and fuel oil systems.
- Proficiency in communication in Dutch, English, and preferably German.
- Fundamental understanding of engine automation and sensor technology.
- Demonstrated ability to organize tasks efficiently and build strong interpersonal relationships (team player).
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented, with an analytical mindset and strong critical thinking capabilities.
- Proactive, responsible, and self-driven professional attitude.
