About the Functie of Junior Test Engineer R&DWhat can you expect from the Functie of Junior Mechanic R&D at Huisman?
We offer you a challenging Functie in an international organization where innovation, quality, flexibility, and creativity are key. With your skill in building mechanical and electrical test setups, you will contribute to the quality of our technical innovations.
As a Junior Test Engineer R&D, you enjoy a hands‑on approach and working with engineers and mechanics from different projects and disciplines.
As a Junior Test Engineer R&D, you will be working in Huisman's laboratory. Here, we have various test setups that enable us to answer technical questions. We build prototypes or use permanent setups for our research.
You will be responsible for the workshop, the machines, and the test setups. You will have to maintain and modify the test setups or build new ones. You will prepare tests, perform basic testing activities, and ensure a safe environment and safe machines.
Issues for R&D arise during the pre‑sales and engineering phase, but also during production, commissioning, and maintenance.
Huisman's projects are large and complex and can amount to more than fifty million euros.
