Description:

As a QA engineer, you are responsible for the quality of the services and data products provided by the team. You are concerned with the happy flow, but especially with the many unhappy flows and enjoy implementing this into very exceptional what-if scenarios. You do this from a functional perspective, but you also take into account other non-functional angles. You discuss this with your team and where necessary with the business. We use Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) to get from requirements to scenarios that developers will implement together with you. This elaboration is understandable for both the Developers and the Business. These scenarios also form the basis for the documentation we provide to the customer. You check that the developers understand your scenarios and whether the implementation they have made indeed produces the behavior and deliver the quality you envision. An important set of indicators that provide this insight are the DORA Metrics. In addition to your work for the teams, you will also work with the Client Test Manager to further develop frameworks and patterns to develop a uniform approach to quality and be worn within the teams.

Youre going to do this

·You ensure and guarantee that what is requested by the business is delivered and meets the quality requirements

·You feel ultimately responsible for the final product and give advice to stakeholders on the release of functionality

· Your way of working means that the team can automatically demonstrate that the requested behavior and the required quality has been delivered

·You oversee the service provided by the team and the relevant services of adjacent teams

·You look beyond functionality and ensure that the service meets performance, privacy, security and compliance requirements

· You use data on key indicators to take action

· You look beyond the teams you are responsible for and are happy to contribute to shaping policies through the Test Community Skills

1.Knowledge and experience of and knowledge about the influence of these concepts on test strategies

a. Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters or similar application architectures)

b.Event Driven Architecture (EDA)

c.Event sourcing

d. Command Query Responsibility Seggregation (CQRS)

e.Headless applications

f.REST architectural style

g. Eventually Consistent

2. Extensive experience with Agile Test Practices

3.In-depth knowledge of testing non-functional requirements. The militias such as scalability, reliability, security, etc.

4. Advanced test automation skills: Experience in designing, setting up and maintaining automated test systems

5. Experience with integrating Quality testing at enterprise level based on CI/CD pipelines supported by GitLab.

6.Extensive experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD). Preferably in-depth knowledge of Gherkin and Cucumber for automation.

7.Extensive experience with and knowledge about the following tooling:

a. X-Ray

b.RestAssured

c.Cucumber

d. OpenTelemetry 8.Experience with and knowledge of the following technologies:

a.Java 21 (Reading production code and independent development of test code)

b. Kafka

c. Relational and Document-Oriented Databases

d.Container environment on Kubernetes

9. Code review skills
