As such, we have launched i-IBP Transformation. I-IBP stands for an Intelligent and Integrated Business Planning, and it spans across the enterprise. The transformation will cover people, process, digital and it is sponsored at the highest level in Diageo business, blending the best of heuristics with collaboration and market intelligence. The Global i-IBP Capability and Communications Lead will lead the design and fuel the right implementation and adoption of the digital capability. You will work with the markets to ensure the product is fit for use and will also be a key leader to input and support the people and process transformation, starting from consumer/customer input, all the way to/towards the supply integration, and backwards. This is going to be a legacy to stay with our organization for the years to come and therefore is a very strategic intervention. This workstream will enable us in Diageo to act decisively and collaborate efficiently, with data, analytics and insights. Some of the capabilities we are implementing are, not limited to: range planning, AI/ML in demand sensing horizon, multi-variable scenario planning, segmentation of our portfolio with a differentiated forecast approach. Key Responsibilities Partner internally and externally to lead (1) capability of the Global demand forecasting/IBP community, and (2) Communications for the global I-IBP programme. Working with direct report – OMP Training Lead, and Regional Directors, the role will ensure
  • Maintaining skill matrixes reflecting task level capability requirements
  • Building training materials
  • Maintaining capability delivery plan
  • Working with Process Owners, deliver process & solution (key stroke level) training to ensure end user capability is built
  • Oversee and track User attendance for all training events
  • Maintain user qualification at target
  • Track User adoption and training success through KPIs and reporting
The role will be leading communications regarding,
  • IBP program
  • OMP Advanced Demand Planning Platform
  • Deployment status, progress on market implementations
  • Progress on Capability, Process maturity, performance, versus recommendation ambitions.
Experience/Skills/Capabilities Previous Successful Experience:
  • Extensive experience working within progressive positions within the end-to-end Supply Chain function, within multiple disciplines. First hand planning experience in IBP, S&OP, S&OE, Demand Planning and having worked in a multifunctional set-up within a market team is crucial.
  • Leading change across the supply chain, through value driven collaborative partnership. Proven track record in designing, shaping and implementing complex change agenda and transferring work from one location to another.
  • Having directly worked with senior business leadership.
  • External collaboration, ideally in the customer space.
  • Has developed and successfully implemented strategies.
  • Has performed as L4 in the past (this is not a first promotion role)
  • Experience in multiple routes to markets including e-commerce, distributor, modern retail, etc.
Skills/Capabilities:
  • Passion for data and a performance culture. Very strong analytical skills.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Demand planning, especially supported with digital infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and communication: Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain strong working relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation. At ease working effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders and business cultures.
