Formulation Scientist

Morgan Lab is seeking a motivated Formulation Scientist in the Deventer region! This is a unique opportunity within an international organization that develops innovative medical technologies, focusing on interventional oncology. Description:

• Write and optimize formulations, processes, and quality controls.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, MDR, and industry regulations.
• Maintain reports, validation plans, and technical documentation.
• Lead projects to transition from development to production.
• Conduct experiments, analyze data, and write optimized processes.
• Act as an expert in sterilization, biocompatibility, and validation.
• Support audits and key technical projects.
• Introduce new equipment to enhance development.
• Train R&D associates and production operators.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in formulation development within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Strong understanding of formulation science principles and product development processes.
• Familiarity with medical device standards and regulatory requirements.
• Skilled in data analysis, experiment design, and result interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and regulatory documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Fluent in English is a must due to the extensive documentation required; Dutch is preferred.
