Within Data Management & Architecture in the Data Distribution Grid solutions are implemented that enable accelerated data-driven decisions. As a Enterprise Data Advisor you translate the strategic vision to the functional implementation of the products and processes, with a strong focus on enabling the Data Users to use the correct and combined datasets in a governed, traceable and secure manner.

Your job

As an Enterprise Data Advisor you play a pivotal role in the Data Distribution Grid, with focus on ‘Managed Consuming’. Managed Consuming is a process that guides and supports Data Users to get the data they need. A dedicated Managed Consuming team supports them to specify their data need, to find the data, to get agreement with Data Owners, and to physically deliver the data. This process will ultimately evolve into a self-service consumption process for getting rapid access to data.

Some examples of your responsibilities:

• Continuously align with business stakeholders to advise on how Managed Consuming can bring value for them, and to understand their needs
• Identify and deliver potential improvements and gaps in existing products and processes by bringing the outside-in view on Data Distribution (Managed Consuming)
• Translate the strategic vision to the functional implementation of the products and processes and work together with Enterprise Data Advisors of other capabilities to deliver the strategic vision
• Actively contribute to the drafting and maintenance of the necessary policy frameworks, policies and standards for Data Distribution
• Create awareness and involvement within the organisation by developing learning materials, publications, information meetings and all other forms of communication
• Take care of priority, cooperation, knowledge sharing, and process and capabilities building with regard to the Data Distribution area of Managed Consuming

Your profile

Master’s degree or similar

At least 3 years of experience with:

• Consulting, stakeholder management and communication
• Data Management and Metadata Management (ability to quickly adopt our way of working, data management vision, technologies, methods and concepts)
• New data integration concepts
• Data Security, Data Governance and GDPR
• Conceptual thinking
• Effective problem solving
• Understanding and bridging the world of Business and IT
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English (understanding of Dutch is appreciated)
