Supported by the Front of House Manager, the role of Hostel Reception Team Leader is responsible for the daily smooth running of the reception desk, making sure the team have everything they need to provide a memorable guest experience, troubleshoot any problems and help guests with any queries they have during their stay. The role will own team training ensuring everyone is up to speed on our systems and procedures. You will also be maintaining the coffee dock located at the reception desk ensuring the team are up to speed of their responsibilities in serving food & beverages during service hours

Some of the key responsibilities are:

• Supporting the Front of House Manager in their role
• Coach the reception team through daily operational tasks
• Provide a seamless guest journey from check in to check out
• Ensure that the coffee dock is stocked, managed and maintained during service
• Work with our remote reservations team to provide a seamless guest journey
  
• Providing exceptional training and coaching
• Take care of some reservation tasks
• Be yourself and have fun!

Who are you?
You are someone who has travelled and can relate to our guests, who is not afraid to be brave or to be the best you can be. You can work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. You are fun, energetic, are open to new challenges and can seek solutions to our guest queries. It would be desirable if you had previous experience in a similar role but not essential, an intermediate level of English is essential.
