Mobile Application Solution Manager

Position summary:
The Mobile Application Solution Manager is the liaison between Rainforest Alliance and her software partner to deliver quality apps that helps the business to collect data and information for their Smart Farm Management application, the Regenerative Agriculture projects and the certification process.

The Manager leads the software team and maintains a close collaboration with the several product managers. The Manager is responsible for on-time delivery and quantity standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the mobile team has clear daily work items to work on
• Ensure team resources are used efficiently
• Together with POs / PMs ensure the planning is realistic and executable
• Support business to make good use of mobile technologies
• Initiate innovations that advance our mobile technologies and provide added value to business
• Translate requirements into solutions
• Support the process of survey content development
• Architect mobile solutions together with RA architects, mobile team, UX team, etc.
• Represent mobile team to other teams
• Ensure good cooperation
• Ensure integration is well coordinated
• Ensure others in RA understand our offerings and make use of them

Delivery

• The mobile team delivers products in time
• The mobile team delivers products which fulfill the agreed requirements
• The solution is according to privacy and security guidelines
• The solution is build based on RA guidelines
• The team functions efficiently
• The team is well connected to other related projects and teams

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience of managing a development team
• Several years of experience with mobile application development
• Architecture
• UX
• Technologies
• Several year experience in survey technology, configuration, data mapping
• Several years of experience with data analytics
• Understanding of business processes and translating it to mobile solutions
• Experience with agile development methodology.
• Result driven team player.
