If so, we have an exciting opportunity within our Front Office department for you as our new Night Auditor. What exactly will I be doing as a Night Auditor? As Night Auditor you will be the key player in managing the Front Office tasks during the night shift. Your responsibilities will encompass handling arriving and departing guests, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring the financial closure of the day. Your responsibilities:
- Guest Management: Be the first point of contact for arriving and departing guests, assisting with inquiries and requests around their stay.
- Financial Closure: Oversee the financial closure of the day in the PM system, meticulously checking all administration and transactions from the previous day.
- Emergency Response: Manage the reception during the night, handling complaints, addressing problems, and responding to emergencies following SOPs and procedures.
- Collaboration: Act as the linchpin between departments, ensuring clear communication and creative problem-solving for the best guest experience.
- Willing to work night shifts (22:45 – 07:00) during weekdays, weekends, and on public holidays. Willing and able to assist in other departments if business requires.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience with nightshifts and/or Front Office work in a hotel.
- Capable of standing for an entire shift and physically capable of lifting equipment, such as suitcases and vacuum cleaners.
- Experience with a Front Office PMS system. Experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
- Fluent in English; preferably, also proficient in Dutch
- Experience Stay at Pulitzer Amsterdam as part of our introduction program
