About BAQME

BAQME is an ambitious start-up on a mission to make cities greener and people healthier by offering a new type of shared mobility. Our shared e-cargo bikes offer a fun, sustainable alternative to private car ownership to travel with kids, pets or objects.

BAQME launched in Rotterdam in February 2021 and has been growing rapidly since. Currently, BAQME has more than 500 e-cargo bikes operating across the Netherlands. Now, we are looking to expand in Amsterdam with 750 e-cargo bikes.

BAQME has its headquarters located in Rotterdam. From this location a small team of people work together, with each team-member supporting BAQME’s mission with their unique set of skills. Furthermore, BAQME has an open and informal culture in which diversity is welcomed and celebrated.

About the Role

Our significant growth and future plans call for the expansion of our team in Amsterdam.

Are you our next autonomous Fleet Agent for the city of Amsterdam; being able to balance responsibility and fun?

As an Amsterdam Fleet Agent, you are BAQME’s eyes and ears on the ground. Responsible for maintaining and optimizing our e-cargo bike fleet. You will be cruising through the streets of Amsterdam on your e-cargo bike, gazing around for any issues to fix. Whether it be an empty battery, a misplaced bike, quick maintenance or basically anything else that can go wrong with a shared cargo bike. Don’t worry though! Our founders will train you well as they are still heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of BAQME.

What we are looking for

You:

  • Are available to work 24hrs a week
  • Live in/very near to the city of Amsterdam
  • Love to ride e-cargo bikes
  • Own multitasking and prioritizing
  • Are driven and humble and ask this from your colleagues
  • Have a driver’s license and are a good driver (plus)

  • EUR 1,500 – 2,000 per month (part-time)
  • Temporary contract (under collective bargaining agreement)
