Job Description
THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE
This role plays an integral part in driving business results and ensuring that the brand and properties are driving revenue growth while maintaining an acceptable return on investment on all paid initiatives, while also supporting overall sales and marketing strategy and brand.com channel contribution growth across all digital marketing touchpoints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage digital marketing campaigns for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts brand within the EMEAC region, collaborating closely with property teams to strengthen awareness and drive direct online revenue and conversions.
- Collaborate closely with global digital agencies to craft robust paid media strategies spanning diverse channels such as search, display, social, metasearch, and SEO. Develop agency relationships with key external stakeholders on behalf of Rosewood Hotel Group.
- Ensure that all creative assets are on brand and optimized for performance across channels and campaign types, including reviewing and approving marketing copy and images.
- Provide strategic support & guidance to existing properties and regional teams in executing digital marketing campaigns and tactics effectively.
- Works to increase revenue and grow market share, creating compelling experiences that steer customers to book direct.
- Serves as a digital thought leader and strategic partner for Regional leads and property marketing teams, partnering closely with revenue management and sales.
- Provides communication from global to local, delivers training, education, and analysis as relevant and needed.
- Supports properties with hiring and vetting process; ensures hotels are recruiting for digital excellence and performance mindset.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly reporting dashboards, providing actionable insights and identifying optimization opportunities to maximize return on ad spend.
- Oversee partnerships with third-party platforms for conversion optimization, booking engine integration, online review management, and local search.
- Work closely with brand marketing, communications, and CRM teams to deliver connected and holistic campaigns across all digital touchpoints.
- Support the commercial division in achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute an annual training calendar to enhance digital marketing knowledge and align corporate and property goals.
- Manage pre-opening digital marketing efforts in the region for all hotel openings in EMEAC. Provide task-force management for pre-opening strategies and execution across all digital platforms, including website launch and all go-live training.
- Provide training and insights on online marketing tools such as analytics, digital software, and internal reporting tools.
- Remain at the forefront of emerging digital marketing trends and technologies, ensuring our strategies stay ahead of the curve.
CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of digital/e-commerce experience; previous experience with a luxury/hospitality brand preferred. Experience with global markets and location-based businesses highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/communications or related discipline.
- Knowledge and hands on experience using Adobe and Google platforms, including content management and analytics.
- Strong knowledge of the latest digital and hospitality trends and best practices across digital marketing and media channels including SEO, SEM, programmatic, email marketing and other digital marketing tactics.
- An eye for design and brand aesthetic to ensure that all campaign visuals and content accurately reflect the Rosewood brand in the digital space.
- Highly analytical, strategic-thinking and goal-driven individual. This role is focused on driving efficient campaigns while also growing revenue and involves strategic analysis and business acumen to drive positive results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights for regional and global initiatives to variety of stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
DEVELOPMENT PATH
This role will work closely with the global digital, sales & marketing, and revenue management teams from both the corporate office as well as all properties, with the ability to grow global exposure and leadership for specific channels and support Rosewood’s digital transformation through elevated and connected digital campaigns.
