Description The Benelux business insights team is responsible for business analytics for the Dutch and Belgian businesses of the Adevinta. As a Junior Business Analyst, you work across teams with financial analysts, marketers, product managers and sales teams to drive strategy and business planning. Based on data analysis, you deliver actionable insights to your stakeholders. You are an enthusiastic and ambitious analyst who is able to crunch the numbers and critically think through data-related questions. You partner with both people inside and outside your direct team to uncover the needed insights. You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to communicate effectively in delivering complex data-driven findings with colleagues such as sales managers and others analysts, as well as deliver guidance to marketers. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all Sales related data questions across multiple business units
• Help teams to analyze trends, anomalies and find opportunities through data-driven insights
• Set-up, maintain and improve dashboards and reporting structure for operational metrics to enable our Sales Excellence programs
• Engage with Marketing and other teams in ad hoc data related questions
• Communicate your findings, key performance metrics and management recommendations both in oral and written form

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic degree, preferably in a quantitative field like mathematics, econometrics, statistics etc.
• 1-3 years of experience in a comparable analytical role or internship is a plus
• Strong analytical attitude with a strong desire to develop and grow
• Capable at gathering and combining various data sources (internal and external) to generate insights
• Interest in and affinity with advanced data modelling techniques and data infrastructures
• SQL and Excel skills are a requirement. Experience with R, Python or similar is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; Great at explaining your technical analyses in an easy way to colleagues and management
• Ability to work in an agile and flexible environment where change is part of the day-to-day environment
• The mindset to go that extra mile when needed and celebrate success after achievements
