Portfolio Manager Consultant

As our new Portfolio Manager Consultant you will manage the change portfolio and the grooming of the Portfolio Backlog, its programs/projects, and the prioritized order of execution to deliver a successful transformational portfolio to the business in accordance to the organization’s vision and strategy.

• To monitor and review performance and behaviors within area of responsibility to identify and resolve non-compliance with the organizations policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
• Develop straightforward business cases or lead feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to support the development and continuous review of business cases.
• Manage and deliver end-to-end digital programs and initiatives, leveraging agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.
• Identify new external developments and / or emerging issues within an area of technology or business function and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
• Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
• Develop and manage the delivery of a plan to evaluate and track business benefits and to identify actions needed to maximize these.
• Negotiate and manage deployment of project resource budgets, providing forecasts and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization.
• Initiate and lead the governance and delivery of a program or group of significant projects within a function, using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are identified and achieved.
• Manage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating these where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these.
• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans for projects to identify relevant stakeholders, to develop positive stakeholder relationships, and to ensure that each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice.

• You have a good understand of concepts of Obeya, Portfolio management, Performance walls
• You are abe able to set up Obeya in line with standards for the CIO – Reliability & Engineering organization with a clear view on portfolio management.
• Able to visualize and translate the data from Portfolio’s into actionable insights from management.
• Good experience with ability to link reporting data to management walls i.e., Performance walls, Portfolio walls.
• As this position is for Reliability and engineering organization a person with good understanding of Error budgets, improving error budget portfolio is preferred.
• A good candidate with also ability to link data and a strong experience from various global system like Azure DevOps, Service now will be preferred.
