Your Role

As a member of the Analytics team, your position as a Data Analyst involves supporting various OpenUp teams (such as commercial, product, and psychology departments) with data analytics. Youll collaborate closely with these teams to unearth new insights, establish key metrics, and design data structures for enhanced analytical insights.

Your responsibilities include developing business intelligence dashboards for both ongoing and ad-hoc analysis. A key aspect of your role is to grasp the broader context, be inventive, and anticipate needs to proactively assist stakeholders in making informed decisions. In return, we will give you the flexibility and trust to choose how to best solve and implement analytics solutions.

OpenUps data analyst will

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics that yield critical insights
• Develop, refine, and enhance dashboards aligning with the companys strategic goals
• Aim for our analytics to be accurate, reliable, actionable, and user-friendly.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to deeply understand their critical business challenges and support them with tailored analytics
• Actively convert analytics into actionable strategies for stakeholder decision-making
• Design, execute, and refine data pipelines and ETL processes
• Assist on data engineering topics such as data warehouse architecture and data modeling

About You

• You hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• You bring 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Your curiosity drives you to tackle data challenges, comprehend the needs of business stakeholders, and navigate through complex data structures.
• Your communication skills are excellent, enabling you to articulate complex subjects in a clear, compelling manner to a diverse audience.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• You excel in managing stakeholder relationships.
• Your approach is proactive, practical, and focused on results
• You are skilled in SQL and familiar with relational databases.
• You have extensive experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Youre experienced with ETL tools such as Matillion, Fivetran, or Alteryx.
• A bonus would be programming skills in Python, Spark, Scala, or R.
