Over the years Delta Light established its growth based on in-house design, R&D, quality control, testing and production. From design to engineering and prototyping, all the way to production, packaging and stocking… all is handled at the Delta Light headquarters in Wevelgem.
Job description
As Project Manager, you improve the Delta Light Brand awareness and create new projects in the Territory by close partnership with (potential) specifiers.
- You investigate and approach the market:
- You execute Market Research towards existing and prospect specifiers (architects, interior designers, landscape designers, engineers, project developers...)
- You introduce the company and the product range by regular visits in office or on the construction site of prospects;
- You inform the specifiers and distributors by introducing the correct marketing tools;
- You brainstorm with architects to create a Delta Light proposal in projects: examine the potential projects and assist the specifiers in selecting the adequate products per project;
- You provide consultancy, support and technical assistance to distributors and specifiers for their projects. You create lighting design of the project when needed and requested by using the basic tools for lighting design;
- You maintain and expand all public relations with the distributors and specifiers via participation at local fairs and events;
- You monitor the execution of the local marketing plan and budget.
- You strive for customer delight:
- You ensure that distributors issues and problems are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Area Manager of any problems or conflicts that may arise and seek advice and approval.
- You coordinate projects:
- You elaborate and monitor the execution of the projects: from order to delivery to the client.
- You have a sales responsibility
- You inform the Area Manager on any requests for changes in prices, delivery, payment and other conditions;
- You achieve the sales targets in total generated by the business;
- You report periodically (weekly) to the Area Manager on results achieved, current and future projects.
Profile
- You have a background in the area of Design and/or Interior Architecture and/or Lighting and/or Marketing.
- You have at least a first experience in Sales and Project Management, preferably in relation to an esthetical product / environment.
- You are fluent in Dutch, with good knowledge English.
- You have good communication and planning & organizing skills. You are client oriented, have an eye for detail and are eager to stay updated on trends.
- You have a strong sense for added value esthetics, and have an impeccable appearance. You are a networker and passionate for the business.
