Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll take the lead on Staffyou’s CRM and Marketing Automation efforts across B2C and B2B. As the founding member of the CRM channel, you’ll be responsible for activation across our B2B2C staffing platform — identifying areas of opportunity and implementing multi-channel communication campaigns via our CRM system (Braze). You will be the key person in strategizing, scheduling, executing, and maintaining marketing communication campaigns, as well as sharing the results with stakeholders.
- You are responsible for leading the vision and strategy of our mobile-centric activation and retention marketing efforts
- Take full ownership of multi-channel (email, push, in-app, SMS, and WhatsApp) end-to-end campaign execution in our brand-new CRM system, Braze.
- You are driving the growth of our business by increasing the LTV of our users across all steps of the user’s lifecycle.
- You design and implement highly automated campaigns to cope with the growth of the business and increase the success of clients and staffers on our platform
- You set up a segmentation strategy, build target audiences, and optimize incentives.
- You continuously run A/B and multivariate testing to optimize the performance of the channels.
- You create and share campaign performance reports with internal stakeholders.
- You develop, maintain, and optimize reference materials (e.g. campaign and automation set-up request forms).
- You work closely with developers and designers — briefing them clearly to ensure you have the assets, tools, and connections you need to make Braze and your activation strategy a success.
What we need to see:
- Motivation and curiosity
- Minimum 5 years experience in CRM and marketing automation (email, SMS, push, in-app)
- You have experience designing and building hyper-segmented customer lifecycle campaigns across multiple channels.
- You are confident in setting up and analysing A/B tests.
- You have an understanding of customer data hygiene, GDPR/CAN-SPAM, and privacy compliance.
- You have some knowledge of APIs, SQL, markup languages, and JavaScript.
- You have a customer-first attitude – you’ve got a proven track record of looking for better ways to communicate with customers.
- You’re an agile team player with strong analytical skills, with an affinity for data
- You love getting stuck into hands-on work and have a self-starter mentality
- You’re fluent in English. Additional language skills are a bonus.
What we’d love to see:
- Previous experience in performance marketing for a marketplace business
- Experience working with Braze Customer Engagement Platform is a big plus!
- Experience working in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment
- A keen eye for details and design
- Ability to work with at least one of the following languages: Python, JS, SQL
- Experience or a keen interest in working in a scale-up or start-up environment; experimenting and building from scratch
- A growth mindset – someone who is proactive, resilient, and not afraid to think big and take on risks.
