nhow Amsterdam RAI is a social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolizes the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. The impressive 91-metre-tall building is in the Zuidas district, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, offering its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.

For this iconic social hub, we are looking for experienced and vibrant personality with a genuine approach. The moana bar is one of the hotels outlets and is located on the 1st floor of the building. Moana bar is the only bar available to the guests between 11am and 24 (1am on weekends). It has 2 working stations and there are usually 4-6 colleagues working on duty. The team is international and is led by the head bartender. You will be a part of the Food * Beverage team that is also very international and consists of more than 40 colleagues including the Assistant F&B Manager, the supervisors and outlet managers.

A day in the life of a Barkeeper
16:00 You arrive, with a cup of coffee, at the bar for the handover with your colleagues and the evening (bar) supervisor.
16:30 After the handover, you and your colleagues might need to support other outlets if needed.
17:30 After having dinner with your colleagues, you make sure the bar is set for a busy evening. If necessary, you discuss specific details with the other outlets/kitchen.
18:15 The first guests arrive, and they are enjoying one of your specialties, an Espresso Martini
20:30 Together with your colleagues you will provide the perfect experience for the guests with your knowledge of beverages and wine.
22:15 For one of our regular guests, you shake her favorite cocktail with your personal twist.
23:45 Rush hour ends in the bar, and around 00.15 you announce the last call.
00:30 After sending the handover you and your colleague meet up outside and go for the well-deserved after-work drink in one of the places nearby.
