Mechanical Team Lead

Within the Business Group Global Supply Chain Strategy, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Supply Chain projects.
As Project Manager you are responsible to deliver complex, multidisciplinary programs such as milk logistics optimization studies, make or buy decisions, commercialisation and partnership projects with a strategic importance for the company for all business product groups.
You manage a multidisciplinary team consisting of a.o. Sales Managers, S&OP Manager, Plant Managers, Master data, Third Parties, Print Development, CapEx project manager, etc. You are responsible from design up to start-up of the programs.

Wat we vragen

• Your intellectual and professional level is at least equivalent to a Dutch Masters Degree.
• You have 5+ years of work experience
• You have the capability to realize projects within time and budget, without making concessions to quality and safety. Specific project management skills such as Prince, WWW and PPM are a clear advantage.
• Out of your helicopter you know how to keep a team motivated, you are analytical and result oriented and willing to travel for work.
• You have excellent communication skills in order to bring various internal and external stakeholders together to work as a team and communication skills to engage in complex business decision making with Top 200 and Top 70 leaders within RFC
• Fluent in English and Dutch

As a Project Manager you are responsible for the end to end delivery of your projects. The projects aim to translate the business strategy into a SC strategy. You investigate different scenarios and come together with a multidisciplinary team to a proposal for decision making to the steerco. You are in the lead of a multidisciplinary team of engineering, CapEx, procurement, S&OP, Commercialization etc. and make sure the team will make a balanced proposal for the best interest of FrieslandCampina.
You will need to be a decisive and persuasive discussion partner and you are able to be objective when your team is not aligned. You are used to drafting project plans, and if required deep-dive into the drivers of programs and challenge the starting points and statements handed to you. You deliver the programs according to budget and schedule without making concessions to quality and safety.

Your excellent communicational and organizational skills result in committed stakeholders and a motivated team to successfully come with the best proposal.
You coordinate the activities of the team members, monitor progress and compliance to the project plan. You manage and mitigate project risks and resources. In this role you deal with various stakeholders with various interests, from marketing, sales to operation and from R&D to maintenance. Working under time pressure brings out the best in you and with your coaching skills you inspire other direct colleagues and help them to develop themselves.
